"Support fixed it, but the reminders were annoying"
I had a problem with my audiobook credits and reached out to support. To be fair, they did eventually fix it, but it took longer than I expected and I had to explain the same thing more than once. What really got on my nerves were the constant reminders and follow-up nudges, they felt a bit aggressive, especially while I was still waiting for the issue to be sorted. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely could’ve been smoother.

"Way easier to find books than other places I’ve tried"
I was surprised how quickly I found the books I was looking for. Compared to a few other sites where I end up digging around forever, the search here worked well and got me where I needed to go without much hassle

"I do like the audiobooks and I..."
I do like the audiobooks and I use Audible often, but the website makes everything feel like a chore. Just trying to find my library or check my credits takes way more clicking around than it should, and half the time the pages feel cluttered or not laid out in a way that makes sense.

The search is frustrating too. I’ve actually had to go to Google to find a book on Audible, which is extra work I really shouldn’t have to do. The app is definitely easier to deal with, but the website could use a serious cleanup.

"Super easy to use"
I’ve had a smooth time with the app so far. Finding my books is quick, everything’s easy to figure out, and it just works like it should. No complaints, honestly.

"Clear sound that makes drives feel easier"
I’ve been using Audible on my phone and in the car, the audio has been really reliable. The voices come through clear, without crackling or weird background noise, and even when I download books for offline listening, they still sound just as good.

A few older titles can be a little uneven, but most of what I’ve listened to has been smooth and easy on the ears. It’s become one of those small comforts I associate with long drives now, like remembering certain chapters from a trip and exactly where I was on the road when I heard them.

"I got into the habit of opening Audible.com..."
I got into the habit of opening Audible.com during my morning routine, and now it’s basically part of my day. I’ll start a chapter while making coffee, speed it up a little if the narrator is moving slowly, and it all just feels easy. The playback controls are a big reason I keep using it because I never feel like I’m fighting the app.

At night, I usually put on a book in bed and tell myself I’ll only listen for ten minutes, which almost never happens. The sleep timer saves me from waking up three hours later with no idea where I am in the story. I also love that it remembers my spot when I switch from my phone to my tablet, and the rewind and forward buttons are simple enough that I can use them half-asleep.

"Canceling was actually easier than I expected"
I went into canceling Audible.com fully ready to be annoyed, because usually subscriptions make you jump through hoops. But weirdly? It was totally fine. I found the option in my account, clicked through a couple screens, and that was it. No phone call, no awkward chat with support, no begging to leave. I was kind of irritated at first just expecting the hassle, then I was like... okay, respect. If I get back into audiobooks, I’d probably sign up again

"Syncing works, but not always"
I use Audible.com on both my phone and tablet, and to be fair, the syncing works most of the time. Usually it picks up close to where I left off, which is convenient when I’m moving between devices.
That said, it does randomly miss the spot by a few minutes sometimes, or it makes me choose between two different positions like I’m supposed to magically remember the exact timestamp. It kind of feels like the app should know better by now.
It’s not a dealbreaker, but it does get annoying if you switch devices a lot. For what Audible.com costs, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the syncing to be a little more seamless.

"Great for switching between devices"
I use Audible on my phone, tablet, and even my old laptop, and for my day-to-day routine it works really well. It usually picks up right where I left off, which is super convenient when I’m moving between devices. If you mostly listen on one device, this might not matter as much, but for me it’s been really handy

"Worth it if you’re actually using it"
I use Audible pretty much every month, and the credit is what makes it feel worth it to me. Some audiobooks cost way more than the monthly price, which still kind of confuses me, but I guess that’s why the membership makes sense if you listen a lot.
I also like that I can pause or cancel when life gets busy, because I definitely forget about subscriptions sometimes. It’s not perfect, and I still have moments where I’m not totally sure how all the deals work, but overall it’s been a good value for audiobooks

"Great exclusive stuff, even if I lose track of what I listened to when"
I mostly keep audible around for the exclusive stuff. Some of the originals and author readings are really good, and I like stumbling onto things I don’t see on other apps. I can’t always remember if I found a title last week or like three months ago, so my listening timeline is kind of a blur, but I’ve had a good experience overall. Not every book is for me, but the quality is usually solid, and it’s easy to listen on my phone. Happy with it.

"Offline listening is kinda a mess"
I mostly use audible when I’m offline, and it’s been frustrating. I’ll have books fully downloaded, then out of nowhere they won’t play unless I connect to the internet first, which is like... bro, that’s the whole point of downloading them. The app also randomly pauses sometimes or forgets where I left off. When it actually works, it’s cool, but for traveling or being somewhere with no signal, I don’t really trust it anymore

"Really good narration"
I enjoyed the narration more than I thought I would. The narrator had a really nice voice and the pacing made it easy to follow along, even while I was doing random stuff around the kitchen and making coffee. It just flowed well and kept me listening.

"Easy returns, but the confusion feels preventable"
I’ve gotta say, I really appreciate that Audible lets you return or exchange a book when it’s not what you expected. I’ve used that option a couple of times, and the process was quick and painless. My only gripe is that the rules can be a little unclear, which feels preventable. Still, overall it’s a good service and it definitely makes buying audiobooks feel less risky.

"I swear audible has somehow cracked the..."
I swear audible has somehow cracked the code on my taste. The recommendations have been scary good lately, and I’ve already found 3 new authors this month that I’m genuinely excited about. It feels a little dramatic to say, but my reading list has been completely taken over in the best way.

"Trial was fine, but canceling felt frustrating"
I tried the Audible free trial it was okay. I found one book I liked and everything worked fine for listening. The part that annoyed me was canceling, it wasn’t as clear as I expected, and it kind of felt like my concerns were being brushed off. Not a terrible experience, but I’m not sure I’d pay for it every month.

"Super easy to sort out my account!!"
I had to update my card and pause my membership for a little while, and honestly... it was way easier than I expected!! No annoying hoops to jump through, no confusion, nothing like that!!! And when I came back, my credits were still there, which was a huge relief!!

"Nice that pausing is actually simple"
I’ve been happy with Audible, mostly because the membership doesn’t feel like a trap. When I get busy, I can just pause it without making a phone call or digging through some confusing menu, which I really appreciate. I also like that the credits are shown clearly, down to the little balance area being easy to spot, and switching plans doesn’t feel like guesswork. It’s a small thing, but those tiny details make me way less annoyed using it.

"Great book deals and easy savings"
I was really happy with the discounts I found on books here. A few titles I’d been meaning to buy were noticeably cheaper than I’d seen elsewhere, and the savings at checkout made it feel like a genuinely good deal. Definitely a nice place to pick up a couple extra books without spending too much.
